What the job looks like today

See whether these common workflow challenges match what your team handles today.

  • You own the whole process manually, and you are the only person who knows where each application actually is.
  • The same demographics, NPI, insurance and income facts get typed again on every form, for every drug, every renewal.
  • You chase patients by phone for a signature on a form they may never have opened.
  • After submission, status can be difficult to verify until the patient or manufacturer follows up.
  • Renewals expire quietly and you find out from the pharmacy.

What changes

The changes below are organized around the priorities of this role.

A prescriber working alone can currently use the solo-prescriber tier free. Practice pricing is per provider, per month, and non-provider staff are not charged for.

The form arrives already filled

Pick the medication and the correct current manufacturer form opens pre-filled from the patient chart, prescriber profile, insurance on file and prior submitted applications. Every filled value carries its own provenance, so you can see what was autofilled versus typed.

Collect the patient section

Send a single-use, short-lived signature link by text message. Identity is verified before anything is disclosed, and no account is required. For patients who want ongoing visibility, a full portal invite is the other option.

One queue, one next action

Sections are scoped by role and each application is explicitly routed to whoever holds the next action, prescriber, staff, patient or representative, instead of sitting in a shared inbox.

Track status from one queue

Dashboards show what is open, what is waiting on the patient, what is with the manufacturer and what is approved. Delivery status is tracked back into the application.

Renewals open before they expire

A renewal reuses the prior application’s verified data rather than starting blank. Optional manufacturer enrollments are never silently carried forward: each one is an explicit decision on the new application.

Returns come back with an explanation

Documents returned by a manufacturer are matched to the right application, and corrections arrive with a written note explaining what to fix rather than a dead end.

Frequently asked questions

Do we still do the work, or does AlgoMeds?

You own the clinical decisions, the patient relationship and the prescriber signature. AlgoMeds does the form resolution, the data entry, the patient hand-off, the delivery packet and the tracking. Our operations team handles returned-document matching and delivery plumbing so you do not deal with it program by program.

How long does it take to get started?

It is browser-based, so there is nothing to install. Onboarding covers practice identity, the account owner, team invitations and then patient panel import from whatever list your EHR exports.

What happens when a patient will not complete their part?

The application shows explicitly that it is waiting on the patient, and the patient step is a link on a phone rather than a form to print, sign, scan and return. The mobile workflow is designed to reduce a common source of application delay.
